Meet Your Neighbors, Be Informed, Have a Voice

Refreshments 6:00 p.m.
Meeting 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Each year, our Town Hall meeting allows the MDA Board of Directors to better understand what is important to Museum District residents and business owners by providing a forum for you to learn more, ask questions, and provide input.

Representatives from the Police Department, Fire Department, and our elected officials are always invited. This year, our evening will open with words from Alex Nyerges, Director and CEO of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. We will also hear from Kevin Vonck, Director of Planning and Development Review, who will speak on the following:

  • The Special Use Permit application process.

  • Planned changes to the West of the Boulevard Design Overlay Guidelines, as well as a general timeline on that process.

  • The upcoming 3 proposed zoning changes: Revise Short-Term Rental Regulations, Eliminate Parking Space Minimums, and Permit Accessory Dwelling Units.

Please use this form to submit questions for the event. (Form closes on Sunday, March 12.) If time allows, there will also be opportunity for residents to ask questions during the event.
