Now in its 21st year, the 2015 Museum District Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour provides a rare opportunity for guests to go inside the private houses and gardens of some of Richmond’s most beautiful and historic residences.
The tour is not just about beautiful homes. Each year, proceeds from this annual event are reinvested in our neighborhood to address environmental and safety issues. Additionally, donations are made to local nonprofits. Previous years’ recipients have included Albert Hill Middle School, Byrd Theater Foundation, Fan Free Clinic and the FRIENDS Association for Children.
In order to continue these efforts, the Museum District Association relies on the well-attended Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour. This popular event would not be possible without the support of those who graciously open their doors and the many guests who visit year after year. Consider becoming part of this annual tradition and helping the Museum District Association continue its goals to advance, advocate, protect and unite the interests of our historic neighborhood.
