Annual Meeting

This is both a social gathering and a meeting. This year we will celebrate our 50th anniversary! At this members-only event, we update attendees on the state of the neighborhood and MDA Board. If you plan to attend, please let us know at programs@museumdistrict.org by Tuesday, November 11.

Town Hall Meeting

This forum allows the MDA board to better understand what is important to residents and business owners. Representatives from the Police Department, Fire Department, and our elected officials will be invited. Please RSVP: programs@museumdistrict.org or (804) 410-1632.

Spring Fling

This members-only social brings neighbors and community supporters together in a casual setting. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP by Monday, April 28, at programs@museumdistrict.org or call (804) 410-1632. (Adult members-only event)

Spring Alley Clean Up

We need your help keeping the Museum District’s alley ways clean! Neighborhood volunteers help reduce the amount of trash, appliances, and furniture littering our alleyways.

When: Saturday, May 3; 7:30 AM
Where: Albert Hill Middle School, 3400 Patterson Ave

 

20th Annual Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour

Treat mom to brunch in the Museum District or Carytown and then treat yourselves to some of the most intriguing houses in our neighborhood! This is our most popular annual event. Learn more and purchase tickets here.

When: Sunday, May 11; 1:00-6:00 PM
Where: Hospitality Center, Free Parking, and Will Call are at Albert Hill Middle School, 3400 Patterson Ave

 

Summer

Family Picnic

Celebrate the end of school and the beginning of summer! Enjoy food, entertainment, and great neighbors.

When:  Friday, June 13; 5:30-7:30 PM
Where:  Albert Hill Middle School, 3400 Patterson Ave (green space across from school)

 

National Night Out

National Night Out is “America’s Night Out Against Crime.” It promotes partnership and a sense of community between neighbors and law enforcement. The idea is that residents get to know one another a little better.

When:  Tuesday, August 5
Where:  The entire neighborhood! The MDA will host a party; details TBD.
